'Cut For A Cure' Roundup

'Cut For A Cure' Roundup

'Cut For A Cure' went down at Culture Kings at the weekend in all stores across the country to raise money for The Leukaemia Foundation in partnership with World's Greatest Shave.

We managed to raise a total of $12,081 on the day - $11,501 in stores and $580 online - for The Leukaemia Foundation, beating our target of $12,000!

All Culture Kings stores got on board and a staff member from each store participated in the 'Bounty Cut', receiving a full-head shave.

People from all age groups got in on the action, cutting and colouring and we even had a four-year-old girl, Lilla cut for a cure in Melbourne and her family donated a generous $300.

'Cut For A Cure' also attracted a few notable sporting heroes with John Mansour and Bryce Cartwright from the Penrith Panthers making an appearance in Melbourne to show their support and Quade Cooper dropping into our Brisbane store.

Essendon Bombers AFL team also dropped into Culture Kings at Brisbane to support 'Cut For A Cure' ahead of their game at The Gabba that night.

We also had a massive $500 donation from Joel Hazell who earned himself the ultimate CK NFS pack by making the largest donation on the day.

100% of all donations made on Saturday went directly to The Leukaemia Foundation to help give Aussie families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need.

We just want to thank everyone who donated, participated and helped make 'Cut For A Cure' happen.

Make sure to keep up with all the action on Culture Kings' snapchat.
