In Soccer news, France of course won the World Cup and Tim Cahill retired from international football. In NFL, the LA Rams have extended Brandin Cooks' contract. 

In basketball, Channing Frye returned to the Cleveland Cavs,  Kawhi Leonard was traded to the Toronto Raptors and Carmelo Anthony will be a free agent.

Wiz Khalifa's 'Rolling Papers 2' dropped, Ty Dolla $ign and 24hrs dropped two new bangers, Azealia Banks cancelled her upcoming album 'Fantasea II', Curren$y dropped two new tracks, we discussed the 2018 MTV VMA nominees, Drake now has more number ones than any other rapper, Bas teased a collab with J.Cole, Future's 'Beastmode 2' debuted at number 3 and Rihanna may be getting a dancehall album. 

Joji & BlocBoy JB dropped a summer banger, Chance the Rapper released 4 songs, Migos, Future and Young Thug laid a remix on us of 'Drip', Birdman announced 'Cash Money West', and Tory Lanez & Rich the Kid dropped 'Talk to Me'. 

Over the weekend, Lil Dicky performed in Brisbane.
