McGregor Stirs Racism Claims As He And Mayweather Face Off In Press Conference 3

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor met again for stop number three on their press conference tour in New York.

It was another night of mayhem but the debate didn't live up to the hype from the Toronto leg the night before.

By this stage of the tour, its clear both parties were running out of material and reusing what worked for them last time.

McGregor made a strong start when he paraded ostentatiously onto the stage in a robe and rapped Notorious B.I.G but he took an uppercut when he chose to address the claims that he had made racist remarks on the previous press conference when he told Mayweather to, "dance for me, boy".

Addressing the claims, McGregor said: "All of the media seem to be saying I'm against black people... Do they not know I'm half black? I'm half black from the belly button down."

Although he has been a clear fan favourite during the press tour so far, McGregor reportedly quickly lost the crowd in New York after the racist comments.

Mayweather also struggled for content but made it rain when he threw money around the stage to show off his wealth, yet again, but McGregor was quick to point out they were all $1 bills.

The climax of the night was when Mayweather and McGregor came very close to having it out right there and then after Mayweather had his entourage surround McGregor on stage.

Let's hope they'll be a little more inventive for the final press conference in London tomorrow ahead of their 12-round super welterweight clash on 26 August.
