Kendrick Lamar Switches From Reebok To Nike
Kendrick Lamar made an official announcement on his Instagram account a few days ago confirming his partnership with Nike.
Despite Lamar rocking the Nike Cortez all throughout his recent DAMN. tour, neither he or Nike had made an official statement about his affiliation with the brand, until now. Lamar's love for Nike goes all the way back to 2013 when he rapped: "And I ain't rockin' no more designer shit. White tee’s and Nike Cortez, this red Corvette's anonymous," in Big Sean's hit 'Control'.
Lamar was previously signed with Reebok and helped to revitalize the brand and some of their iconic sneakers including the Ventilator, the Classic Leather and the Club C. Nike have recently put a large push behind their iconic Cortez sneaker and Lamar’s influence could be just what they need.
