In The Bag: All The Details From Blueface’s Three Huge In-Store Appearances

In The Bag: All The Details From Blueface’s Three Huge In-Store Appearances

This past TRIPPLE BLACK WEEKEND we had a massive line-up of in-store appearances, kicked off by internationally renowned artist Blueface, stopping in at a huge three stores in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Anyone at the Brisbane drop-in will attest to the sheer energy and charisma coming off the 22-year-old artist, with enormous lines wrapping around Elizabeth Street and a spontaneous rapping performance from the gleaming Culture Kings’ countertops.

Melbourne saw Blueface taking on the in-store court with a slam dunk, quickly doubling down with a successful ‘shot from the logo’ on first attempt – joining NBA pro Jayson Tatum as the only two to do so within the Culture Kings Walls. A throwback to his first appearance, Blueface was also repping Saint Morta Leopard jeans bought on day one in Brisbane.

Sydney caught Blueface warming up for his festival performance with the in-store Sharpshooter Challenge, as well as browsing the apparel stacked walls end-to-end for the freshest gear to rep this season. Fans were given the chance to meet the man himself, get exclusive merchandise signed and be a part of the tangible hype surrounding Blueface’s in-store visit.

Blueface didn’t just rap and play basketball though, he copped some serious merchandise on everyone’s wish list this year. The artist had a keen eye on the latest sneakers, getting a total of 10 pairs from the Brisbane store alone, including Air Jordan 1’s in white/black/starfish, Air Jordan 1 Retro HIGH OG, Air Force 1 ’07’s in white and Timberland Boots in Black.

In the apparel scene, Blueface picked out the newly dropped Anti-Order Paradigm Utility Joggers, as well as a dozen jerseys and hats for both the basketball and baseball leagues, favouring the Yankees, Lakers, Dodgers, Raiders and White Sox. A potential Christmas present in the mix for Blueface’s son Javaughn, a Toddler Dodgers Replica Jersey was also copped during the visit.

Three visits across three days, plus three killer performances alongside worldwide artists at Festival X, Blueface is absolutely one to watch out for with his barely-contained energy and hype across the nation. With his upcoming full-length debut album titled ‘Find the Beat’ set to hit shelves December 6, the rise of Blueface appears to have only just begun.
