Met Gala 2018 Style: Our Best & Worst Dressed Men

Met Gala 2018 Style: Our Best & Worst Dressed Men

The Met Gala 2018 has come and gone this last Monday and left us with some amazing outfits and also some questionable ones. The theme for this year was 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination'. We'd say it's a weird concept but hey, the Met Gala is known for it. This year we had some new celebrities attend the gala and they brought with them their own personal style. Let's break down the best and the worst of 2018.

THE BEST

Chadwick Boseman

The 'Black Panther' star blew everyone else out of the water this year. 100% on theme and looking dope - what more can we ask for?

Diddy

Diddy's getup was inspired by Papal robes and honestly, it kinda works. Of course, you'd probably not rock this on a daily basis, but for the Met Gala? It works.

Childish Gambino/Donald Glover

Gambino's new clip 'This Is America' is all anyone's been talking about for the past few days and for good reason - it's crazy as. Bino turned it right down for the Met Gala and although his outfit wasn't exactly on theme, the colour and cut of his jacket kinda of echoed the decadence of it all.

Migos

Migos had a heap of fun with the Met Gala theme and went to town. We love how they paired their crazy top halves with simple black pants and sunglasses that brought the look a more modern vibe while still adhering to the theme.

THE WORST

2Chainz

This outfit was all over the place - this is the outfit he chose to propose to his girlfriend in?! Congratulations to the happy couple but Lord that styling is all kinds of wrong.

Jordan Roth

We are really not sure what this look was supposed to be. All we know is that the colour red was butchered this day.

Bradley Cooper

Old mate Bradley was just the most BORING at the Met Gala - it's not the event to wear a simple tux, especially when keeping within a theme.

WILDCARDS

Jared Leto

Who knows what this look is? Do we love it or do we hate it? At least he's embracing the fact that he looks like Jesus with his long locks and he gets credit for actually going with the theme, but this outfit is for sure not the best.

Jaden Smith

We can't put Jaden in the worst dressed category simply because he's a goddamn ICON. Drenched in Louis Vuitton with sneakers and gold chains, Jaden brought his own gold record as his accessory and we have to admire him for that. That said, what was he thinking?
