A$AP Rocky Surprises Fans With Pop-Up At Skepta Meet & Greet
English Grime artist Skepta made his scheduled in-store appearance at Culture Kings Sydney yesterday where a devoted crowd had hung out in line for up to 12 hours. They were also treated to a surprise, exclusive ‘Testing’ Merch pop-up store hosted by none other than A$AP Rocky himself.
Skepta arrived in store just after 6pm and made his way through the VIP line signing fan’s World Exclusive Merch they had bought in store that day.
Pretty Flacko showed up about half way through and the ‘Praise The Lord’ artists caught up and put on a show for the crowd as the store turned into a nightclub as Shek Wes’ ‘Mo Bamba’ blasted from the DJ booth.
Skepta spent time meeting with as many fans as he could, signing everything pushed towards him, really making their day a memorable experience. He was presented by a massive framed portrait painted by one of his fans before he left the store to head off to his show later that night at the Sydney Opera House.
A$AP kept the party going though as the crowd of people went crazy to get their hands on the World Exclusive ‘Testing’ merch from the pop-up shop. He signed whatever he could get his hands on and entertained the audience from the in-store DJ Booth.
No one expected A$AP to turn up until he and Culture Kings posted it on social media about an hour beforehand. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience to have the two celebrities in the same room for such an intimate meet and greet with every fan lucky enough to fit in the store at that time walking away completely blown away by what they had just experienced.
