Playing at Oracle Arena for the first time since Game 5 of the 2015 NBA Finals, the Warriors had their homecoming spoiled with a 114-103 loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday night. Stephen Curry had a brilliant run early with nine points in a 1:19 stretch in the first quarter, and Leandro Barbosa added a nice scoring punch off the bench, but the Warriors were otherwise a step slow in their second straight preseason defeat. After going four months between appearances on their home court, the Warriors will be back at Oracle Arena on each of the next two nights. What does this mean for the future? Maybe nothing at all, but the Warriors will be looking to return to their winning ways as the regular season approaches quickly.
